What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card and medical insurance information to your appointment at For Eyes by Clearly. Great news – we bill direct to most insurance providers. Don't forget your prescription eyewear, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and prescription sunglasses. Bring any questions you have or symptoms you have experienced. If you're unsure about anything else to bring, give us a call.
Do I have to get an eye exam at For Eyes by Clearly to get a new pair of eyeglasses?
We happily accept valid prescriptions issued by a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist. You do not need to get an eye exam from an Independent Doctor at For Eyes by Clearly to shop with us. We recommend comprehensive eye exams every year to stay on top of your vision health.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A standard eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During the contact lens fitting process, measurements of your eyes will be taken to identify the most suitable contact lenses for you. Please note, there is an additional charge for the contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens wearers, for new or existing patients. Can I schedule and get an eye exam in the same day?
When you schedule your eye exam online, you'll see all the available appointments for that location. Same-day appointments will be displayed first. If you don't see any availability, feel free to give us a call.
Can I bring the eyeglasses I bought online for fitting and adjustment in store?
Absolutely! Anytime you need an adjustment or cleaning, stop by. Adjustments and cleanings are FREE for life so stop by and see us anytime, we're happy to help.
